This is true in so many areas - especially wedding photography.
If the price seems too good to be true - it probably is!
This is not to say everyone charging more is worth the price though!
You need to be sure that the photographer has a good demeanour, attitude and people skills - they will be close to you for most of your day.
They also need to have high skill and artistic flare in capturing the moment - a great photo at the wrong time is useless!
They need to be using high quality photographic equipment - equipment failures do happen, are they prepared?
